What’s the cost of an animated video?

We offer two video quality tiers depending on your budget.

For companies looking for a truly custom and results-driven video like the videos shown above, prices range from $4,000 – $10,000 USD depending on your video needs. Prices vary based on video length and animation style.

We also have a startup offer for smaller companies looking to leverage explainer videos in their business. These videos range from $700 – $2,500 USD and are packaged based on video length.

How does payment work?
We’ll send you an invoice for the project using Xero, this allows you to pay directly using PayPal or Debit / Credit Card through Stripe. We use Silicon Valley Bank and Transferwise as well, so you can either do a direct deposit to our account, and if you’re coming outside the US, we can give you the info of the local bank to do the transfer.
These services operate 100% online, so we don’t accept checks sent to us by email, as Silicon Valley Bank doesn’t have offices where we can deposit the checks.

On payment methods you have 3 options:

■ Pay 100% Upfront.
■ Pay 50% first and 50% when project is delivered.
■ Pay 40% first, 30% at 50% completion, and 30% when project is delivered. (Great for bigger projects with higher budgets)

Note: If you choose one of the last two options, we’ll be showing to you the project with a watermark and 720p resolution for approval to the process and you’ll receive the project without watermark and Full HD after the last payment has been made.

What if I am not satisfied?
You always get the chance to give two rounds of feedback every step of the process (script, voice, animation, etc.) which we’ll fix.
It happens that you are not completely satisfied after the first draft. If you are not satisfied after our second attempt, which is very unusual, you can ask for a third draft or take advantage of our 100% money back guarantee.
Do I get to choose my voiceover artist?
Yes, you will have the option of selecting between North American Male & Female, as well as UK or Australian. Other nationalities can be sourced on request.
How long does the whole process take?
A typical video takes about 8 weeks to produce, from the discovery meeting to the final delivery. However, simpler productions can be completed in 6 weeks. Of course, timely feedback is a must for staying on – or even ahead of – schedule.
Can the process be faster?
Sure! We always cater for specific events; however we will need to charge a rush-fee to ensure we meet your deadline. This fee will be finalised prior to beginning a project as it will depend on how soon the event is, and which video length you purchased.
How will we communicate?
We’re a company that operates mostly through the internet. We use Basecamp for all projects for written messaging, along with Skype and phone calls as needed. This workflow has been efficient for our clients for over 3 years.
What about in person meetings?
We’re a digital company and have been since day one. If we’re in the same city we’d love to meet, but our clients are spread around the world and communicate through the internet. Don’t worry, we’re humans too and create strong relationships with all our clients.
Can you help me once the video is complete?
We provide the final video files along with a handover document, which explains what we would do if we were to promote a video ourselves. This document details how to use it on Social media platforms, how to embed your video in email signatures etc.

Can you get a film in a language other than English?
Definitely! We can (virtually) fix a professional voice in any language you want. Just remember to mention it when you make the order.
If you want your video made in more than one language then it costs $500 more per language for every 30 seconds.
Are we allowed revisions?
Of course! We include unlimited revisions on your video to guarantee you’ll be jumping for joy once it’s complete.
How do we give feedback?
We deliver scripts in a Google doc – comments can be made easily using the Google interface. Storyboards, Illustrations and Videos are all uploaded to FileStage for accurate feedback down to the exact pixel.
How long should my film be?
It depends on how you intend to use it. But nowadays, people have short attention spans. Therefore, it is important to keep the video short and to the point while still obtaining all the necessary information. Usually, we can’t take everything you ask for but It’s OK. The video only needs to provide enough information to get viewers interested in taking the next step (buy, give you their contact info, try for free, and so forth).

We recommend:
30s – Explain briefly a relatively simple idea.
60s – Explain calmly and make arguments for purchase.
90s – For those who require longer explanations. More time on the sales pitch, etc.
120s – For far more advanced products and services.

How much content will fit in a movie?
We usually write your script in the next format:

Do you offer discounts?

Many of our customers need multiple videos to educate their customers through their whole marketing funnel. As a bonus, we offer a 10% discount for any 3 videos purchased, or 20% off for 5+ videos. Just let us know after your purchase of the first video, and we will send a special link to apply the 10% to your total. Perfect if you need to make a series describing all features of your product, or to show specific parts of your company.

Can I change my video's length after ordering?
Yes! Many of our client’s order a 60 second video and decide to extend it to 90 seconds in order to include more information in their script.

If you like we’ll create two versions of the script at no extra cost so you can see the difference between each length.

We will simply invoice you for the difference upon project completion.

How do you fit into the market?
To be perfectly honest with you – we don’t.
