Alina Chau also has a successful only store and a YouTube channel where she does Art Tutorials. We found Alina’s work in CTNX last year, she also was recommended to us by Casey Robin in a previous interview. Once we found her work we knew why. Alina Chau is a well rounded artist with many years of experience in many areas of art, which is rarely seen as many people specialize in one area.

Actionable Steps

  • If you survive through hardships it will be easier to do so in the future.
  • Have a space to create your own style and experiment, don’t try to copy others.
  • If you focus too much in the career and the commercial you can lose the love to do art, since art is pretty much putting our self in our work, if you have to focus on the career, make a space to do art for yourself.
  • If you are a shy person, try to become real friends with artist and people in your profession, so that way it will be easier for you to network, as friendships is less stressful for shy people.
  • The idea of a dreamjob is usually unrealistic, there are many elements in reality you’re not taking into consideration, the real deal will always look different..

“TAKE EVERY OPPORTUNITY YOU GET, SMALL BIG, JUST TAKE IT SERIOUSLY AND LEARN.”
